Although an Irish citizen now, Michael Connaire was born near Boston, Massachusetts. After a short stint at St. Louis Conservatory he switched over to New England Conservatory where he received his Masters and Bachelors of Music (Both with Distinction, I might add).  Now he lives in Lüneburg a little town outside of Hamburg, Germany where he practices his trade as singer.

Well known inside of Hamburg and vicinity, he has also sung in diverse opera houses around the country and has performed in concerts in The Glocke in Bremen, Musikhalle in Hamburg, and in many cathedrals across the land, as well as in France and other European countries. In January he flies to Japan to sing Bach's Christmas Oratorio.

Connaire is the father of an active and lovely son and, although at first and second glance one would doubt it, he is an avid jogger.
